GAS also lists a $2 review fee if the minimum grade is not met, which the rate does not mention. That minimum, combined with the absence of any independent record of the company, is the practical barrier here rather than the per-card price.

What sets them apart
Cards are housed in UV-resistant acrylic with a gold label, and dealers report moving thousands of GAS slabs a week on Whatnot, where live-selling audiences behave differently from the general secondary market.
A certificate verification field exists. Beyond that, every substantive claim about the company originates from GAS itself.
Where the slab sells
With essentially all public information originating from the company itself, there is no evidence the market recognizes the label at all.

GAS does not appear on eBay's professional grader filter list and is not covered by the Authenticity Guarantee, so its slabs get neither grader searchability nor buyer protection.

The unfilled template placeholder that sat live on its About section through August 2026 — reading "Your About Us content will go here" — has only partly been addressed: a real founders' message now sits alongside the same unedited placeholder text, still with no founder named. No population report, no auction-house presence, no external coverage. For a company you would be trusting with your card, that absence is the finding.

GAS Grading describes itself as founded by collectors aiming to bring modern technology to grading, citing a combined twenty-plus years of experience among its team, low costs and quick turnaround.
Its slabs use ultra-clear UV-resistant acrylic with a gold label.
Beyond the company's own materials there is little independent information available about its operations, standards or market presence.
It should not be confused with Global Authentication Inc (GAI), an unrelated grader whose card business was sold in 2009 and continued as Global Authority.
