RCG includes subgrades on everything, and collectors still flag QC

Subgrades on every submission is genuinely uncommon at this price, and it is the reason supporters point at RCG first. It is also not the thing that decides whether you should use it.

The counterweight in collector discussion is consistent enough to take seriously: a resale discount against the majors, plus allegations of wrong labels, debris inside slabs and returned card damage. Those remain allegations rather than established fact, and it is worth saying so plainly.

But quality-control complaints work differently from grading disagreements. A grade you dispute is an opinion you can argue with. A card that comes back damaged is a loss you cannot undo. That asymmetry is why the QC reports, not the resale discount, are the reason to hesitate here.
