PSA's Value tier, paused since 2 June, reopens on Thursday 29 October at 8 am PT in all PSA regions: the US, Canada, Europe and Japan, Sports Illustrated reported. It costs $39.99 in the US, carries a $500 maximum insured value and has an estimated turnaround of 90 to 100 business days, or 120 in Japan.

PSA also cut its estimates for the two tiers already open by 20 days each, for orders submitted from 8 am PT on 28 October:
- **Priority:** now 50 to 60 business days.
- **Standard:** now 70 to 80 business days.
- **Value:** 90 to 100 business days, from 29 October.
Orders already at PSA are graded under the terms they were submitted on, though PSA said they may benefit from the faster pace.
The catch
New Value orders go to the back of the line. PSA said they will be processed after the orders it already holds, and that reopening Value does not change delivery estimates for anything already submitted. The backlog is 7.2 million. PSA has said Value Bulk stays closed until the backlog reaches 5 million.
"We have added an incredible amount of capacity, but we still have work to do, both on existing orders and ensuring our estimated turnaround times are accurate," said Ryan Hoge, President of PSA and Grading at Collectors.
PSA said graded output is up nearly 50 percent in 2026. For a collector, the test is simple: whether PSA hits the 90 to 100 days it is now quoting for Value.
