PSA and Collectors released an update on the 13 October FedEx truck theft on the night of Friday 24 October, Sports Illustrated reported. It includes the complete list of 6,451 stolen items as a PDF on psacard.com, with certification numbers and, for serialized cards, serial numbers. PSA said it has deactivated the cert number of every stolen graded item and shared the list with marketplace sellers, auction houses and digital commerce platforms.

The FBI and the Santa Ana Police Department are both investigating. PSA said it gave them video footage, shipment manifests and item-level records. No arrests or recoveries have been reported.
What was taken
Sports Collectors Daily went through the list. It counts 2,161 sports cards, about a third of the total; Pokémon and other gaming cards make up most of the rest. The sports cards include a 1935 National Chicle Bronko Nagurski rookie, a 1933 Goudey Babe Ruth, a one-of-one 2026 Topps Ohtani Superfractor, four 1980-81 Topps Bird-Magic rookies and a 1998 SP Authentic Michael Jordan Gold autograph. PSA's list does not give grades. Grades in collector-made trackers circulating online have not been independently confirmed.
What it means for buyers and owners
- **Buying:** run the cert on any PSA slab before you pay, especially high-end vintage and serialized modern. A stolen slab's cert should now fail. A card cracked out of its slab has no cert to check.
- **Compensation:** PSA said customers will not have to wait for the investigation to end. Grading fees are being refunded separately and do not reduce compensation, which is based on fair market value up to the order's declared Maximum Insured Value.
- **Recovered cards:** if a card turns up, its owner can keep the compensation or take the card back.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the FBI.
