New owners take over FCG and reset it as a $15 flat-rate grader

Acquisitions reset what evidence is worth. Everything written about FCG before January 2026 describes an operation with different owners, different pricing and different equipment, and none of it tells you much about what you would get today.

The stated changes are specific enough to be checkable: flat $15 a card, 10-day average turnaround, order-stage tracking, and a QR code on each label linking to the grading notes. Specific claims are better than vague ones because they can be held against reality in six months.

The right posture is to treat FCG as a new grader with an old name. Judge it on slabs graded after the handover, and give the tracking and the notes a year to show whether they are a genuine practice or a launch feature.
